KLM Engineering and Maintenance quickly understood how OneAero’s AOG Service could help the carrier keep their fleet in the air and productive. Says Carl Maier, Chief Executive Officer of OneAero Inc., “For years we’ve been a market place where carriers and MROs find parts. Now our AOG service extends part-finding expertise to the industry’s AOG Loan and Borrow process.”
KLM became an early adopter of the AOG, taking advantage of very favorable pricing. Then it happened. A scheduled flight was at risk of being grounded unless the Maintenance Team could acquire the necessary parts. In the words of KLM’s Operational Manager “we have located in the short period we are using it parts which otherwise would cause a hard AOG situation or cancellation of the flight."
Avoiding this single flight cancellation has tremendous benefits to KLM- not the least of which was an enormous return on their OneAero AOG investment (ROI). Says Carl Maier, “With escalating maintenance costs and the huge burden of an AOG situation, our pricing is a breath of fresh air- there’s virtually an immediate return on investment.”

For the first time in aviation history, companies are now able to streamline their invoicing process by switching to an electronic and completely automated e-invoicing process. Suppliers can transmit invoices to their entire customer base by using a standard interface via OneAero/IATA. Invoices can be forwarded electronically to all aviation, and non-aviation related customers.
How it works:
The supplier transmits the invoices to OneAero/IATA, then the OneAero/IATA system automatically distributes the invoices to the appropriate customers.
The supplier can monitor the transfer of all invoices and receives an "invoice sent" confirmation notification. The customer can receive all invoices, using a single format and interface, ready for processing.
In addition to the data-processing, suppliers and customers can automate the settlement process, by using the ICH (IATA Clearing House).
The benefits:
Suppliers
- Invoices are delivered to the customer 2 - 4 days earlier.
- Online invoicing dispute resolution
- Invoicing delivery is visible to the Supplier
- Payment is received, on average, 4 days earlier (IATA-Study)
Customers
- Single format for all electronic invoices
- All electronic invoices arrive through a single interface
- All remaining paper invoices can be received electronically from IATA using their scanning service.
- Online invoicing dispute resolution
- High reduction on invoice processing cost (IATA-Study)
For more information about OneAero/IATA e-Invoicing, please contact OneAero’s Michael Harms at mharms@oneaero.com.

Until recently, inventory and repair databases were only as accurate, or inaccurate, as the data being provided by the supplier to the information providers. Those days are now history. OneAero has developed a very simple Inventory Synchronization application, which in most cases can be installed and running in one day! Now every time a supplier sells a part, or purchases a part to put in stock, the OneAero database is notified and updated.
Inventory Synchronization is so flexible that it can be adapted and integrated with any software platform. You don't have to alter, or adapt, your company's existing system in order to integrate with OneAero's inventory module.
Dan Fitzpatrick, a Director of OneAero stated: "This new technology will greatly benefit OneAeros customers by providing real time inventory data as accurately as possible". To achieve high levels of accuracy, all OneAero customers are strongly encouraged to synchronize their data with OneAero's database.
To learn more about synchronizing your in-house database with the OneAero system, please call 1-888-820-8551.

The Ratingen, Germany based coating company, Praxair GmbH, has signed an MRO-Tracker contract to support all its customers with real-time online repair status information using the OneAero MRO-Tracker system.
